IMSSA’s Healthcare department held a blood donation drive on the 7th November 2015 at Masjid Mydin. This
event was jointly organized by IMSSA,Red Cross (Singapore) and South East Mosque Cluster. It was also
supported by Diabetes Society of Singapore.
In Singapore, we need more than 100,000 units of blood every day. The blood donation drive aimed to
promote awareness in blood donation among the Indian Muslim society, to save and make a difference in
people’s lives. We had about 100 registrations for blood donations. As 1 unit of blood would be able to save 3
lives, we look forward to hold several such selfless events that help to create awareness in donating blood to
others in need of support.
IMSSA’s healthcare department would like to thank everyone for all your support in making our Blood
Donation Drive successful.
w.r.b. Alhamthulillah. IMSSA’s Healthcare department would like to thank everyone for all your support for our programs. We started off with a Niyath to create awareness on healthcare issues.
On our 1st year, we focused on health talks on the common illnessesand creating awareness on prevention of chronic diseases.
