“Learning Journey to Masjid Al Islah @ Punggol”

Organized By: Yishun Boys Hub

On:  Wednesday 13th Dec 2017

Alhamdulillah. As part of the YBH Holiday class, we organized a Learning Journey to Masjid Al Islah.

The objective of this event was to educate students on Mosques being an integral part of every Muslim’s life.

Mosques such as Al Islah are located in the heartland of a neighbourhood and close to the HDB blocks. This allows people of various religion to witness the daily prayers n activities going on in the Mosque. Through this mindset, our boys learnt the important of coexistence and bonding with the society to benefit them in many means.

The architecture of the Mosque itself is a great reason for even foreigner Muslims to visit other than Masjid Sultan. It has a unique dome structure on the roof top and the Arch and the fountain bring back the structures of the Islamic Golden Age.

Alhamdulillah the staff of the mosque led us on a tour to see all the facilities. She was also very understanding as she explained in details to the various questions about the Masjid that our boys asked. We had our lunch together at the Masjid too. Insha Allah we hope to have other activities such as i’thikaf for our boys at the Masjid in the near future.

Alhamdulillah, it was a great learning session indeed.

In shaa Allah, we look forward to organize more learning sessions in the upcoming year. Aameen
