Iftar, an annual affair for IMSSA. It is an event where people from all walks of life gather to breakfast as a community.
Iftar is aimed atbringing our community together as one united people, regardless of race, language or religion.
This year our Nee Soon GRC Iftar 2016 was held on 26th June 2016 at Sheltered Hard Court, next to Blk 165 Yishun Ring Road.

Ramadan being a month of Giving, 125 needy families were invited to participate and grace our event as well. The grassroots advisors handed goody bag consisting of vouchers and rations to them.
For the first time in IMSSA’s history an Arabian Theme was followed for iftar.
Following the Arabian Theme, the organising committee had an interestingvariety of decorations displayed.
The highlight of our Nee Soon iftar this year was a unique Gallery Walk which displayed art works done by our students from Madrasah As-Soabereen. The art works emphasized on sharing their knowledge about Ramadan. The Gallery Walk was displayed at the entrance of Nee Soon Iftar, giving participants a fruitful knowledge to start off with.
The organising team even gave an Arabian essence to their menu. The iftar food consisted of Pineapple Rice, Arabian Mandi (Fried Mutton), Shawarma (Arabian Chicken Wrap), Porridge, White Cheese Brownie, Grapes, Dates, 100 plus drink and mineral water
