Children’s Day Cum Sports Day 2023

Alhamdulillah this year our central healthcare team organized a Children’s Day Cum Sports Day on 1st October (16 Rabbiyul Awwal 1445 AH), Sunday at Bishan Active Park for students across all the levels in the central madrasah.
We collaborated with the Singapore Red Cross and MAEC for this event. Singapore Red Cross and Red Cross Youth Members set up various booths for our children to hands-on and explore. Singapore Red Cross covered CPR and simple first aid training and while the Red Cross Youth Members set up games like blood buddy card, Snakes & Ladder and First Aid bean bag games.
MAEC helped to organize fitness instructor for mass workouts and volunteers to facilitate games for the children. The games that were prepared were kin-ball and tower stack games. The children had so much fun playing these games.
For all levels, competitive games and non-competitive games were prepared. Pre-sch, Lower Pri and Middle Pri competed in a Minute to win it within their own levels. Upper Pri – Tertiary level (girls) competed in captains ball and dodgeball.
While the boys competed in soccer and captains ball. Parents class (Ladies) competed in a restaurant race which is an obstacle course. The winners for the competitive games were presented with a medal.
To make this day even better, appetizing refreshments and lunch was prepared for everyone.
Alhamdulillah it was a great opportunity to provide the children a day out to bond and have fun with their peers.
