Adhaan Competition

Adhaan Competition was organised during the December 2022 school holidays. This competition was organised to enable our students to become more confident in the recitation of the Adhaan. It was a prelude to teaching them how to pray and to lead prayers. This was also significant for them as with Ramadan around the corner, they were also gearing up for weekday group Terawih sessions held at their houses with their classmates. 

Primary 5 to Secondary 2 students from our En Naeem and East branch participated in the competition. 

Training sessions took place in person during our holiday classes in December. Thereafter in January, the trainings were held during weekdays through zoom and on weekends within madrasah curriculum hours. 

A total of 14 students participated, there were 4 semi finalists and 6 finalists. The finals were held at Masjid En Naeem on Saturday, 25 February from 5pm to 6.30pm. There was a live judging for the 6 finalists and the results were announced at the end of the event.
