National Day Celebration with East Division

Alhamdulilah, On 7th August 2022 (9 Muharram 1444) we had our National Day celebration. “Stronger Together” reminds Singaporeans that unity in our diversity is what makes us stronger as one united nation. Masha Allah, our country has turned 57 Years Old, we have come so far as a country with great hardship, and we thank Allah (S.W.T) for that. To commemorate our journey thus far, our madrasah had a celebration for the students.  We had lots of fun activities and games for students.

Students sung their National Anthem song patriotically and said their pledge proudly. Such a proud moment for us as Singaporean to be celebrating our Nation’s Birthday.

Our students took part in the National day quiz to learn about Singapore’s past and how far we have come. They also learnt the importance of respecting and appreciating our elders for all the sacrifices they made for our country. During tea break, our students took pictures at the photo booth with props as National Day keepsakes and together with a beautiful cake celebrating Singapore’s birthday.

What a great opportunity to commemorate the country’s birthday just before the Day of Ashura! The kids had a fun packed day with Kahoot challenge, Guess the lyrics, where students from different age groups got together to reminisce national day songs from the past and sang their hearts out in unison. We also had cake cutting to celebrate and remember our nation’s birthday.

With a variety of activities planned for them on this important day, our students enjoyed commemorating our country’s birthday! We thank Allah (S.W.T) for bring us closer and united on this special day.

Alhamdulillah! We also had our students from uniformed groups wear their CCA uniforms today as well. Ustaz reminded the students on the importance of being a concerned and responsible Citizen and an ideal Muslim of Singapore. Upon that the boys sung their National Anthem song patriotically and said their pledge proudly. Such a proud moment for us as Singaporean to be celebrating our Nations Birthday.

Alhamdulillah, these national day programmes brought our community together to give thanks to Allah (S.W.T) for this tiny island that we all call home. ❤️
