During the March holiday, on 19 March 2019, the Preschool and the Lower Primary levels of Madrasah As-Soabereen (Bishan) jointly organised for a fun-filled outing to West Coat Park. A total of 60 children joined the outing to have a fun and enjoyable session. Indeed, they met the objective of having fun and having created strong kinship among their peers.
An Amazing Race organised for the children was the highlight of the outing, whereby they worked together as a team to crack clues that led them to the next station. The best group was rewarded with a hamper prize.
Moreover, they were able to play at the multiple play areas that catered to the different age groups. With the guidance of their Ustazahs, the children had a wonderful experience via playing flying fox, swings and obstacle course that was child-directed free play. On the other hand, the nursery and the kindergarten were elated as they played at a miniature train and see-saw. They were also able to relax and be involved in shapes painting after their free play.
During lunch time, the children had an array of food and tidbits, which were generously sponsored by participating children’s parents. Some of them joined the team during the outing as well and were delighted to witness their children have a ball of time.
After eating their lunch, the children prayed Dhuhur as a jemaath, led by one of the students. At the end of the prayer, they also thanked Allah for everything they have been blessed thus far. Before bidding good bye to the place, everyone was entitled to a cone of ice-cream. The children immensely enjoyed themselves that they had no heart to leave the place.
إِنَّ الْمُؤْمِنَ لِلْمُؤْمِنِ كَالْبُنْيَانِ، يَشُدُّ بَعْضُهُ بَعْضًا
Abu Musa (R.A) narrated that Prophet Muhammed (S.A.W) said,
“A faithful believer to a faithful believer is like the bricks of a wall, enforcing each other.” While (saying that) the Prophet (S.A.W) clasped his hands, by interlacing his fingers.”“.
