The first milestone of our long-withstanding journey was Madrasah As-Soabereen (Yishun) @ Masjid Darul Makmur, established in 2004. Our classes are conducted weekly in the North region of Singapore, on Sundays. While renovation works are being completed at Masjid Darul Makmur, current sessions are held at Masjid Assyafaah (Sembawang). The leading principles of our establishment are as follows:
1. Strengthening Faith
The entirety of our curriculum focuses on developing our students to become learned, conscious individuals who seek beneficial knowledge, by catering to their varying needs and providing them with student-centred care.
2. Leading through Service
Through the multiple opportunities given to our volunteers to teach and guide those around them, leading through service is a core identity we seek to build and maintain, ultimately nurturing leaders of the future.
3. Building a Cohesive Community
We work to promote racial and religious harmony guided by the teachings of our faith and its true essence as an instrument to build peace. Working with our collaborators beyond madrasah, our various projects seek to serve the residents in the North. Volunteers are given the chance to be a giving hand to the society around us, regardless of race, language or religion.
