Rabiul Awwal Students’ Competition 2023

Alhamdulillah, the Rabiul Awwal Students’ Competition was held on October 17, 2023, from 2pm to 6pm at Masjid An-Nahdhah (MPH). The Bishan branch of Madrasah As-Soabereen specially organized the competition for all students from Preschool to Parents levels!
This challenge had three main objectives:
- To encourage Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) remembering through “Our Beloved Stories,” “Raawi Challenge,” and “Memento Challenge.”
- Use the lessons learnt from the life of our Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) in our daily lives.
- Develop students’ public speaking abilities.
Alhamdulillah, for this final round, 26 finalists were chosen. The competition began with selewat upon our beloved Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w.), followed by a welcome speech and our primary girls’ Solatul Badriyah.
Three categories were available for our students to participate in; Our Beloved Stories (preschool), Memento Challenge (Upper Primary Girls, Middle Primary, and Lower Primary), and Raawi Challenge (Secondary to Tertiary Girls and Parents)
There was a strong level of competition amongst them within their own level.
Alhamdulillah, we sincerely hope that everyone who had attended; participants and audience had a meaningful experience, learning about our Beloved (s.a.w.)’s words and the significance of applying them in our daily lives.
We would like to thank all parents and ustazahs who have put in much effort to practise with their students. Indeed, the students had conveyed our Beloved’s words through the stories, memento and raawi challenges with so much love for our Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w).
To follow in the footsteps of our Beloved, this requires effort, consistency, and, most importantly, love of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w). In Sha Allah, may we always work to apply the sunnah of our Beloved into our lives and cultivate our love for him with the fullest sincerity.
Let’s all continue to remind our children of the beautiful characters of our Beloved (s.a.w) and strive to walk in his footsteps!
Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) said:
وَمَنْ أَحْيَا سُنَّتِي فَقَدْ أَحَبَّنِي. وَمَنْ أَحَبَّنِي كَانَ مَعِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ
He, who loves my Sunnah, has loved me. And whoever loves me, shall be with me in Paradise.⛲
