Rabiulawal Students’ Competition 2023 (Northeast)

Alhamdulillah, the Rabiulawal Students’ Competition was held on October 7, 2023, from 2pm to 6pm at Masjid En-Naeem. The Hougang branch of Madrasah As-Soabereen specially organized the competition for students to participate from the Preschool levels to Tertiary levels. This was indeed a special competition for them as it was their first live competition in front of all their peers.

This challenge had three main objectives:

❖    To encourage Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) remembering through our various challenges and reciting the related hadiths.

❖    To use the lessons learnt from the life of our Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) in our daily lives.

❖   To develop students’ public speaking abilities.

Alhamdulillah, for this final round, 21 finalists were chosen. Two categories were available for our students to participate; Memento Challenge (Lower Primary, Upper Primary, Secondary and above girls) and Rawwi Challenge (Preschool).

Indeed, there was strong competition amongst them within their own levels. Alhamdulillah, We sincerely hope that everyone who attended; participants and audience had a rewarding  experience learning about our beloved (s.a.w.) words and the significance of using them in our daily lives.

To follow in the footsteps of our Beloved, this requires effort, consistency, and, most importantly, love of Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w). In Sha Allah, may we always work to apply the sunnah of our Beloved into our lives and cultivate our love for him with the fullest sincerity.

Let’s all continue to remind our children of the beautiful characters of our Beloved (s.a.w) and strive to walk in his footsteps!

Prophet Muhammad (s.a.w) said:

وَمَنْ أَحْيَا سُنَّتِي فَقَدْ أَحَبَّنِي.‏ وَمَنْ أَحَبَّنِي كَانَ مَعِي فِي الْجَنَّةِ

He, who loves my Sunnah, has loved me. And whoever loves me, shall be with me in Paradise.⛲ (Jami At-Tirmidhi)
