The first to be noted was the apt background of the theme with an elegant design of black and green with a dash of gold which coincides with our IMSSA logo. Melodious Bayyaths’ filled the air. The main path leading to the stage was beautifully decorated. The children were in their best attire. A group of boys, dressed in local costumes, stood like angels at the entrance; welcoming everyone by giving them Salam & a beautiful souvenir of Aathar (Gents) & Brooches’ (Ladies).

Parents started arriving from 2:30 pm onwards and registered their names before taking a seat. Our emcees took that time to converse with the parents until the event started. Fun filled family bonding efforts were lined up for everyone to take part in the event. The event kick started at 3.00 PM sharp with a cheerful intro by our emcees. Sukoor Alhamdullilah almost 60 persons were turned out.

The program started with an excellent Duah & followed by the Qirath recitation by our Secondary boys Fayaz, Aarifeen and Wasif @ 3.15 p.m. They recited Qirath very melodiously. Everyone in the audience were very much delighted to hear the Qirath and urged them to recite the same way as our boys did. Alhmadullilah. A big applause for them. Winners received their Trophies and certificate with a big smile.  Immediately after the prize presentation, a break was given for Asar solah as per plan and it was well timed as parents were given enough time to get ready for the prayer.

After Asar prayer, the program continued without any delay as the Emcees gave clear instructions to the parents to come back to the same location after Asar prayer @ 4.30 p.m. Program resumed by the skit video on “My IMSSA Journey”. It was featured from 4.30 p.m. to 4.45 p.m. The skit is about a group of 4 childhood friends who are in the same school but only three of them are in madrassah. They will do everything together. Hence the 3 students are in madrassah make use of what they have learnt about Islam. The aim of this skit was to share the madrasah experience of the students and the changes they have incorporated in their life to be a perfect Ummah. The skit was well received by the audience. Following that, the student delivered a speech on “How to respect Parents”which lasted till 5.00 p.m. The speech was started by quoting Quranic verses from Surah AL-Isra, Ayat No: 23where Allah (swt) say

That you shall not serve (any) but him,and goodness to your parents. if either or both of them reach old age with you, say not to them (so much as) “Ugh” nor chide them, and speak to them a generous word.

Hadith: The prophet (pbuh) said “He is not of us who does not have mercy on your children or disrespect or never honour the elderly”The speech was so touching, motivating and very realistic as to what is going on day to today life. Tears rolled down for some students. In Shaa Allah, Allah (swt) will bless us all.
The second part of prize presentation was took place immediately after the skit @ 5.15 p.m. More parents came up to give the prizes. In this segment, prizes were given to Best Student, Best Ameer, Most Helpful Person and Nasirullah Award. The aim of the prize presentation was to congratulate those who had done a good job and thereby motivating other students also to do their best in near future. After the prize presentation, ourRespected Hazrath gave a great speech on how to be a good muslim and making children to join IMSSA will benefit them in many ways, instead of them spoiling their life outside. He quoted with good examples.

The day’s programme concluded with a beautiful, melodious Bayyath on “Asma Ul Husma” to praise the Almighty. The highlight of the show in bringing out the hidden potential from the students in presenting The 99 names of Allah (swt)’s name rhythmically. Thus ended the Annual Day Celebration of Sec1/sec 2 & Tertiary Boys for that year. It was lively, interesting and exciting. Everyone enjoyed it to the full. All our parents departed with a smile on their face and with a big “Jazakallah Khayran” on their lips.
