“Bloom Where You Are” Annual Day 2023

Alhamdulillah! On 11th November 2023, we had our first Annual Day at Masjid En-Naeem – themed “Bloom where you are”. It was a celebratory occasion where we honoured students’ achievements and motivated them to continue doing good work. It also served as an encouragement for all children to do their best, in the path of Allah (SWT). As a special guest, our mosque Chairman, Haji Jeffrey, graced the event by handing out prizes too!

Preparations for annual day was sure hectic! All the Asatizahs in-charge had started planning weeks in advance. Trophies, medals and hampers were carefully vetted through and prepared. Food sponsorship were received from multiple generous parents. Alhamdulillah! It was a joy to see so many food varieties for all to enjoy! Even the decor was carefully handmade to create the wondrous floral atmosphere. Thank you to everyone who was a part of the big endeavour!

On the special day, children flooded the mosque with big smiles, hoping to receive an award on stage. To make it particularly memorable for them, their family members were invited to join. During the prize presentation segments, their family members were individually called out to receive the prizes with their children. It was a beautiful sight to behold! Group Qirath performances and game segments by students were also conducted to keep the cheer and engagement up.
