Family Camp 2023

All praises to our Rabb for inviting us to his house at Masjid Assyakirin for a wonderful and meaningful Family Camp 2023. 🤍🕋

About 900 attendees participated in the camp [31st August to 3rd September] from all our Madrasahs functioning at 5 Masjids – Masjid Assyafaah (Admiralty), Masjid An-Nahdhah (Bishan), Masjid Kassim (East), Masjid En-Naeem (Hougang) and Masjid Assyakirin (Jurong).

Our Preschool, Lower Primary and Upper Primary-Secondary levels indulged in many fun and exciting activities such as Arts & Craft by making prayer mats, keychains and goodie bags, Workshops like Hijab styling and painting and Games like Sports Relay and Water play! 🎨🧕🏁🛍️

Our Parents classes collaborated together for Janazah workshop, Sunnah food booth in the Masjid and many more to make this camp a meaningful one! 🌸🍴🕌

Our Boys levels had an eventful overnight experience over the 4 days and bonded over various activities like Halal shopping, BBQ teabreak, bowling and soccer! ⚽🎳😋 Additionally, the boys set up a Qur’an & Science booth as part of Assyakirin’s Learning Festival on Saturday. They also held their Tarteel Competition Finals amongst the 5 branches on the last day of the Camp!

Lastly, our cooking team put in their hardwork and heartwork to cook the delicious lunch for everyone in the Masjid throughout camp and served everyone with a smile! 😇

Furthermore, all the students got the beautiful opportunity to pray, read Qur’an, eat and travel with their ustazs/ustazahs and peers and most importantly achieve the objective of our camp: spend time in Allah’s house 🕌 Masha Allah!

We hope that it has been an enriching learning experience for everyone! A heartfelt thanks to all who worked to make our Family Camp a success! 💕 May Allah SWT reward us with taqwaa and give us the opportunity to continue doing good together for many more generations to come! 🤲
