Festive Hotmeals Distribution – Hari Raya

Alhamdulillah, during the blessed month of Ramadan, we distributed hotmeals to the residents of Yishun and Bukit Panjang. The menu for the festive occasion was Nasi Briyani with Chicken Masala and Raya cookie boxes.
The Raya cookie boxes had various types of delicious traditional cookies which signified the Kampong Spirit of Giving to others during festive seasons. IMSSA volunteers came together to collect and pack the cookies into mini containers. It was an opportunity to strengthen the bond between one another and to bring happiness to others through acts of giving.
In accordance with the words of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W), “The best of you are those who feed others,” we are indeed very grateful for this opportunity.
The smiles on our residents’ faces did, in fact, fill our hearts with happiness. Inshaa Allah, Let us all participate in this act of altruism that our beloved Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W) has taught and practiced. Through a giving mentality, we aim to continue contributing to the community in any possible way we can.
